Michael Bloom steps down as Rhapsody America GM

Michael Bloom has left his general manager role at Rhapsody America and will return to MTV, with Neil Smith and Rob Williams to share the role.

Michael Bloom has left his GM position at Rhapsody America. Bloom has headed up the division since the Real digital music service merged with MTV's Urge music service last year - he had previously headed up Urge. Bloom will move back to MTV, though it's not yet clear in what role. The GM role at Rhapsody will seemingly be split between existing execs Neil Smith and Rob Williams, who will reported directly to Real Networks boss Rob Glaser.
