Michael Caine to release chill-out compilation 'Cained'

Actor Michael Caine is releasing 'Cained', a chill-out compilation of his favourite tracks, inspired by an evening spent with Elton John.

74-year-old Hollywood star Michael Caine is to release an album of his favourite chill-out tracks on a compilation set to be called 'Cained'. The actor found inspiration from spending an evening with Elton John, who presumably encouraged Caine's (sort of) musical career. The British thespian said of his decision: "I've loved this type of music for years, and have literally hundreds of CDs. I've been buying them for about 15 years, and really know my way around. About ten years ago I started making my own compilations. I've always been interested in music, and over the years have made literally thousands of tapes. And with chill-out I suppose I finally found my forte". Rumoured to be on the tape are Nina Simone, Chicane and Industrial noise-niks Throbbing Gristle....just kidding. Hopefully it's better than previous forays into music by actors. I mean, Bruce Willis' 'The Return of Bruno' was truly great, but then came Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar and that Jared Leto's dreadful project.
