Ministry relaunch website, more etail

Ministry Of Sound has relaunched ministryofsound.com with built-in e-commerce, aiming to sell directly to customers rather than through third-party retailers.

Ministry Of Sound has relaunched its main website to coincide with the release of this year's 'The Annual' compilation.

Confirming the new look site, which has lots of new fangled e-commerce built in, MoS's Head Of Internet & Innovation, Rudy Tambala, told reporters: "For too long we have allowed third party retailers to be the sole guardians of the relationships with our consumers. Today's relaunch of ministryofsound.com is central to our strategy to establish direct relationships with our customers whilst also having control over the price, promotion and fulfilment of our products and events".

He continued: "We've worked closely with the industry's most dynamic and experienced agencies [Trinity Street on back end, Delete on front end] to create a retail proposition which reflects our brands innovative approach, and we'll be looking to replicate this model for our other brands over the next 12 months".
