Monkeys may do singles releases in 08

Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders told BBC 6Music the band may release standalone singles rather than an album next year.

Arctic Monkeys have revealed they may release stand alone singles rather than a full album next year. Drummer Matt Helders told BBC 6Music: "We've got things written, several new ideas and new songs that are ready to record. We will do recording early on. We might not necessarily record and then release an album. We might just do little bits at once or [release] singles. There's really nothing planned. It just depends how it goes, which is a nice change. We can go into the studio and not necessarily have to have something done by, like, the end of the month. It'll be like, 'Just see what happens'".
