Have we mentioned this year's Electric Picnic Festival yet? If we haven't, well that's a dreadful oversight that we should rectify now.
Organisers of Ireland's finest fest have just added Gnarls Barkley, Amadou and Mariam and The Skatalites to a bill which already includes Basement Jaxx, Massive Attack, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Groove Armada, Anthony And The Johnsons, DJ Shadow, Damien Rice, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Frames, Devendra Banhart, Super Furry Animals, Belle & Sebastian, Rufus Wainwright, Bloc Party, Alabama 3, The Rapture, Mad Professor, Saul Williams, Tom Vek, Gang of Four, David Kitt, The Boy Least Likely To, Rachid Taha, Elbow, Graham Coxon, Deus, The Rags, The Dublin Gospel Choir, Gary Numan and the only performance anywhere in the world this year from the legendary Blue Nile. And the dance stage line up is still tbc - expect that next week.
It all takes place 1-3 Sep at Stradbally Hall, about an hour away from Dublin. More info at http://www.electricpicnic.ie, press info from [email protected]
