Every time I have to write an item on the Summer Sundae festival, I get visions of banana splits and ice-cream concoctions involving fruit and wafers and raspberry syrup. And I want to eat them. Which is not terribly helpful when you consider that I don't eat dairy.
On to the actual news, however, which is that more names have been confirmed for the weekender, and they include The Hold Steady and Micah P. Hinson. They join previously confirmed acts such as The Magic Numbers, Echo And The Bunnymen, The Rumble Strips and The Divine Comedy.
All that takes place at De Montford Hall & Gardens in Leicester from 10 - 12 Aug. More info from http://www.summersundae.com.
