We've mentioned Leicester band Kyte before cos they're good n all that, but if you need reminding just how good then you might want to take note that they're playing at Nottingham Rescue Rooms on Thursday (11 Oct) with recent Mercury nominees Maps. Possibly more so for those readers in Nottinghmam I guess. The love affair between Kyte and Maps goes deeper than touring partners, however, with Maps having remixed their song 'Secular Ventures' for the b-side to brilliant current single 'Planets'.
Kyte have other upcoming dates too, including a London date, details are at: http://www.myspace.com/kyteband
