More MySpace functionality in the pipeline

According to the Wall Street Journal, MySpace is expected to add video downloads and better instant messaging and internet calling, as News Corp seeks to expand online.

Talking of blogs, the Wall Street Journal has reported that MySpace.com are expected to add a whole load of new functions to the increasingly popular blog platform. Bought last year for $1.3 billion by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, among the additions expected are a video download function and better instant messaging and internet calling. MySpace will seemingly play a key role in Murdoch's only relatively recently acquired ambition to take over the internet.
