McFly got naked, yet again, while appearing on the Jo Whiley Radio 1 show yesterday. The band got very involved in a strip version of drinking game 'Never Have I Ever', leaving bassist Dougie Poynter wearing very little, as usual.
Meanwhile, McFly's Tom Fletcher has told the Sun he doesn't feel he and his bandmates get enough credit for their songwriting skills. He told the tabloid: "I'm definitely not mentioned in the same breath as people like [Gary Barlow or Guy Chambers]. Because I'm part of a band people perceive my songwriting skills in the same way they do the group and that is to frown upon them both. People are really snobbish about it. If Guy Chambers had written all our songs people would really praise him. I've no doubt about that. Someone once said to me that if Oasis had done 'Room On The Third Floor' it would have been heralded as one of the greatest songs of all time. I said to them, 'You could be right'. I see our music like that".
He's right of course. Though you might argue that his band might be taken a little more seriously if they stopped taking their clothes off at every possible opportunity.
