More X Factor nonsense

Kimberly Southwick says Sharon Osbourne feels betrayed after her act was voted off, while Chris Moyles denies offering to replace Osbourne on the panel.

Yeah, like the headline says, more X-Factor nonsense, and Kimberly Southwick, the contestant voted off the TV talent show over the weekend, has said that she thinks Sharon Osbourne, her mentor on the programme, feels "betrayed" after two of her artists polled the lowest number of votes in the weekly viewer vote.

As previously reported, Osbourne walked off the show on Saturday when asked which of her two artists she thought should be kicked out of the competition (the judges each have to pick one of the lowest voted acts for eviction), and it isn't entirely clear if she plans to come back next weekend (well, officially it's not). Osbourne apparently claims that Southwick was at a disadvantage because a change in the show's airtime meant her performance was aired before the show's scheduled start time, or something like that.

Southwick has told website Digital Spy: "At the minute [Sharon's] just really upset, and she just feels really betrayed by the whole thing. She feels like she's not getting a fair cut in the deal with all her acts. She was angry that I went on first... but she was also angry that, after the show had been advertised to go out at 5.45, it actually went out at 5.30. A lot of people missed my performance because of that".

Elsewhere, Chris Moyles has denied tabloid reports that he has offered to take over Sharon's place in the X-Factor judging panel if she really has quit the show. Though mainly on the grounds that he believes Osbourne's walk off was a PR stunt and there is no way she has really quit (a viewpoint which almost definitely correct). Moyles told The Sun: "The show's turning into a pantomime. Sharon walking out on Saturday night was just a PR stunt. I wouldn't even do it for the money she's on, but she'll be back - she has a contract".
