Mud at Knowsley Hall festival too

The inaugural Knowsley Hall festival on Merseyside, staged by the people behind Creamfields, was also muddy, with The Who delivering a headline set.

Also dealing with a wet weekend were festival goers on Merseyside enjoying the inaugural Knowsley Hall festival, where The Who also delivered what has been hailed as a storming headline set. Other stand out sets at the event reportedly included Madness and one Joss Stone, despite her much reported twelve pages of rider demands. Some in the local press have been dwelling on the mud and reportedly long queues at the Knowsley event, staged by the people behind Creamfields and local promoters Loud Sound, but reports on the ground suggest that, as with Glasto, many a good time was had, despite the English summer weather.
