It seems ages since we reviewed the very good new album from the Mull Historical Society - 'This Is Hope' - but its retail release is only just beckoning. To celebrate the 19 Jul album release Colin MacIntyre will play two pre-release gigs - one at Tobermory Village Hall on Mull (23 Jun) and, probably more convenient for most CMU readers, one at London's ICA on 29 Jun.
The album is also preceded by a single release on 12 Jul - 'How 'Bout I Love You More'. The DVD version of the single includes footage of MacIntyre recording in New Orleans with the Gospel Choir who feature on the new album.
