The jury in the ongoing Murder Inc trial spent seven hours yesterday deliberating over whether or not they believed, as the prosecution in the case claim, label bosses Chris and Irv Lorenzo 'Gotti' laundered money for convicted drug lord Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. They failed to reach a conclusion one way or the other, instead asking to review several documents related to the case, in particular the testimonies of prosecution witnesses Donell Nichols and Jon Ragin. Some commentators wonder if the deliberations are a bad sign for the defence, who took the position that the prosecution's case was so weak the whole trial should never have gone ahead. If the case was so weak, some might ask, why all the deliberations. But, of course, only time will tell which way the jury goes. They will continued deliberating later today.
