Muse up for Klaxons support

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy says Klaxons are welcome to support them at Wembley Stadium if they are still interested, with three support bands planned.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has commented on that recent story in which Klaxons revealed that they had foolishly knocked back an informal offer to support Muse at their upcoming Wembley Stadium gigs, mainly because the band's Jamie Reynolds was a bit drunk at the time and didn't really think about it. They subsequently told the media they would love to support Muse, and that they were desperately trying to get another offer to play. Well, Bellamy, who has told NME they plan to have three support bands for the Wembley concerts, said at the Big Day Out festival this weekend, when asked about the Klaxons story: "Is that what they've said? Well OK, if they're still up for it, well bring them on!" As previously reported, Muse play Wembley Stadium on 16 and 17 Jun. And, as unbelievable as this might sound, word has it the venue may actually be ready this time.
