MusicNet in the US has announced it has nabbed Ted Casey off American mobile firm Verizon Wireless to fill the role of Senior VP Business Development & Partner Relations. Having led Verizon's mobile music services, it is expected that Casey will have a key role in expanding MusicNet's backend digital music services into the mobile domain, and in particular in developing backend technologies that will simultaneously service different kinds of hardware.
Confirming the appointment, MusicNet boss Alan McGlade told reporters: "Ted's expertise and proven success in mobile and digital media will play an integral role in MusicNet's continued global expansion and diversification".
