MySpace have announced a new series of sessions and James Blunt will be the first to participate. The series, called MySpace Transmissions, will see the social networking outfit record artists in a studio setting with video interviews and original tracks among the outputs. MySpace's VP Of Programming And Content, Josh Brooks, says the new programme will offer a "unique way to expose users to exclusive content" and "empower artists and labels with a new way to generate revenue on MySpace". MySpace have done sessions before, including that rather fine one with Ben Folds which I think was meant to be coming out on DVD but which I never saw. Hmm, I must try and see what happened to that.
