So the majestic UNKLE are back with a brand new album, 'War Stories', and it's another star studded line up, with guest appearances from the likes of Josh Homme, Brody Dalle, The Duke Spirit, Chris Goss, Psycho Pab, Autolux and even Ian Astbury. Everyone has their own opinions on which era of UNKLE is the best, but I think I'll put my neck out and say this new long player from Messrs Lavelle and File is just possibly the best yet. Four tracks off the long player are here to preview, including the brilliant 'Burn My Shadow', which is the one that features Astbury on vocals. And there are snippets of more tracks with one of those Beatport player thingimies half way down the page. The copy's a bit hard to make out because it's in red on top of a slightly distracting image, but I think there's a whole load of upcoming UNKLE dates and some bloggy type stuff about the new album. But you all surely know what there is to know about UNKLE by now, so let the music do the talking, and see if you think 'War Stories' is as good as I do.
