Nate Dogg charged with stalking estranged wife

Nate Dogg has been charged with stalking and making criminal threats against his estranged wife, plus driving while suspended, his lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed.

More relationship woes in hip-hop-ville, and hip hop type Nate Dogg has been charged with allegedly stalking and threatening his estranged wife. The charges, made Monday, relate to an incident last month when traffic police in California arrested the singer after his wife claimed he was following and threatening her as she tried to drive away from him. He has now been charged with making criminal threats, stalking and driving while his licence was suspended for a drunken driving violation. The hip hopper's lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed the charges but said he "looked forward" to defending his client in court. Saying little about the charges specifically, Geragos told reporters: "Unfortunately, he's had a tough year and we look forward to getting him through it".
