Rumour has it Pop Idol sycophant Neil Fox plans to turn nasty for the forthcoming second series of 'Pop Idol'. Though the shows producer's might not be too keen – most assume Capital Radio's Foxy role on the show is to be the positive one in the final stages while Cowell and Waterman battled for the most impressive put-down.
Certainly Cowell wasn't too impressed by the news, telling reporters: "It doesn't really work for Foxy to be like that. He's known for being Mr Happy Radio. We still have Nicki as nice cop, though, nothing has changed there."
No word on whether Foxy is planning on dumping his strategy of talking utter rubbish – or his quota of one contradiction per sentence – both also important components of the award winning Pop Idol formula.
