New city-wide music festival for Stoke-on-Trent

The Axis Festival will take place around Stoke-on-Trent over the May Day weekend, 4-6 May, featuring Guillemots, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Now, I don't want to you think that because we've been bigging up Nantwich's Acoustic Festival Of Great Britain and now we're covering this new event in Stoke On Trent that I'll cover anything that's happening within a thirty minute drive from my home town, though clearly I will. The Axis Festival is taking place around Stoke On Trent over the May Day weekend, 4-6 May, and features loads of great music, including Guillemots, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and even the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. And for those who like the idea of making music there'll be a load of workshops too. You'll find full info at http://www.axisfestival.co.uk, or for more info you might want to get in touch with [email protected]. And if anyone is planning a music festival in Congleton, make sure you let me know, right?
