NME Radio has gone on air on FM in Manchester. It's the latest 28 day FM outing for the digital radio station, and follows a similar FM broadcast in London, which I must admit I completely managed to miss. Perhaps I'll move back to Manchester for a month to take in that FM service. The station will be broadcasting on 87.7FM in Manchester until 7 Dec. NME Radio MD Sammy Jacob said this: "It's great to have a dedicated platform in Manchester for the month of November and to provide the city with a true alternative to the mainstream".
