No word on release of new Strummer material

Joe Strummer had been working on new material with his band The Mescaleros in the months leading up to his death, some of which was previewed at his last live dates. But the band were due to go in the studio in late December to finish the album proper for a Spring release and it is now unclear if and when some or all of these tracks will get a release. That said, some sort of tribute album featuring Clash and Strummer songs is inevitable and some of the new tracks may appear on that.
