NSYNC Lance may not be going into orbit

NSYNC's Lance Bass may miss his space trip after failing to meet a payment deadline, according to the Russian Space Agency, though reasons for the delayed payments have not been given.

NSYNC's Lance Bass might have missed out on his space travel ambitions after he failed to meet a payment deadline, according to the Russian Space Agency. A spokesperson for the agency told reporters that there were a number of deadlines for instalments to be paid, but the first one had already been missed. Other reports say he has also failed to pay his training fees, even though he is already being trained in Moscow. There is no word as to why payments have been delayed - Lance is being sponsored by a number of big companies and a Hollywood producer. If he does get a place on the October mission he will be the third ever space tourist and the youngest person to visit space. It is expected to cost him around $20m (£12.7m).
