Omar Rodriguez of Mars Volta and Lydia Lunch collaborate on EP

Omar Rodriguez of Mars Volta and the no-wave legend Lydia Lunch are set to join forces for an E.P release, imaginatively called 'Omar Rodriguez and Lydia Lunch'. The collaboration, which will see the generally bizarre musical capabilities of Rodriguez pitched against the possibly even more bizarre vocals of Lunch, should be out by the end of the year on Willie Anderson Records. Here's hoping that the record shows more imagination that its title.
