BBC Radio 1 Future Dance host Sarah Story has announced the launch of new label and club night STORIES. It will offer, she says, “a platform for artistic expression and forward-thinking dance music”.

The Music Venue Trust has announced a new agreement with Manchester’s RADAR Festival, which will see the event donate a portion of its ticket sales to MVT’s Pipeline Investment Fund to support grassroots music venues. “Many of the crew working at RADAR - lighting and sound engineers, stage and production managers, merchandise sellers and more - gained first-hand experience at grassroots venues”, says festival co-organiser Joe James. “As well as nurturing artists these training grounds support the whole talent ecosystem”.

Idles frontman Joe Talbot is to become the latest musician to appear on CBeebies’ ‘Bedtime Stories’. He will read Davina Bell’s ‘Under The Love Umbrella’ on the TV channel for preschoolers. Tune in tonight at 6.50pm.

ABBA have announced the first ‘Calmer Concert’ version of their ABBA Voyage show, aimed at those with sensory processing needs. The show has been prepared in consultation with A Relaxed Company, whose Katherine Usher and Chris Pike say, "We've been working with the whole team to ensure that the concert is ready to welcome everyone, whether you're neurodivergent, sensory sensitive, or just looking for a calmer alternative”. The show is set for 25 Apr. Book tickets here

Off the back of his recent Super Bowl half time show performance, Usher has announced a three night run at the O2 Arena in London in April 2025. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday.

Peggy Gou has announced that she will headline a show at London’s Gunnersbury Park on 17 Aug. Also performing will be Mochakk, LSDXOXO, Sally C and Hiver. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Greta Van Fleet have announced that they will play London’s Royal Albert Hall on 14 Jul. Tickets are available now.
