The John Lennon estate has partnered with meditation app Lumenate to release nine new mixes of the late Beatle’s 1973 song ‘Mind Games’ to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Month. "I think our ‘Mind Games’ project is fun, meaningful, and potentially mind-expanding”, says Sean Ono Lennon. “I really hope people enjoy the results as much as I have”.

Primary Wave’s ‘mindful soundscapes’ label emeraldwave by Green Hill has partnered with ‘sound wellness’ company Endel. Their first collaboration will be the release of a reworked version of David Arkenstone’s ‘Celtic Chillout’ album in the Endel app. “As AI is becoming more and more a part of the musical landscape, finding the right partnership for emeraldwave was crucial”, says Blake Davis, General Manager of Green Hill Productions. “Endel is a company that has invested countless hours into the genres and musical spaces that are important to the core of emeraldwave”.

Morrissey has written to travel company TUI urging it to cut ties with marine parks that keep orcas and dolphins in captivity. This follows a similar move by Jet2holidays as a result of a campaign by PETA. “TUI now has the dubious distinction of being the last major travel provider in the UK to provide a financial lifeline to these watery little hellholes”, he says. “It’s time to call it quits”.
