One True Voice split before debut album

Popstars group One True Voice have split less than nine months after formation and before their debut album, after lead singer Daniel Pearce quit.

After eight months of problems, denials and rumours, One True Voice have finally broken up, less than nine months after they were 'created' and before their debut album hits the shops.

Created by ITV's Popstars: The Rivals, the group released two singles before lead singer Daniel Pearce quit. Although the remaining members said they would carry on tensions were obvious and, according to the News of the World, the final split came after bandmate Anton Gordon walked out saying: "It's all over. It's a nightmare I wanna forget."
