Ozzy's former bassist speaks about royalty claims

Bob Daisley, Ozzy Osbourne's former bassist, says he wrote most of Ozzy's solo lyrics as he pursues a legal battle over unpaid royalties and songwriting credits.

Ozzy Osbourne's former bass player Bob Daisley has been talking to reporters about his legal battle with the Osbournes over disputed unpaid royalties and songwriting credits on Ozzy's solo albums. Bob claims he wrote all the lyrics, not Ozzy as it is widely believed. Speaking to music website Undercover he said, “I wrote pretty much all of his solo tracks really - from the Blizzard of Oz album (the very first one), Diary of a Madman, Bark At The Moon, The Ultimate Sin, and No Rest for the Wicked. The last album I played on was No More Tears but I didn't write anything on that.”
