Passion Pit

Passion Pit, the brainchild of Michael Angelakos, will see their debut EP 'Chunk Of Change' reissued by Frenchkiss Records after gaining attention in the US.

Influenced from everyone from Randy Newman to Giorgio Moroder, Passion Pit is the brainchild of Michael Angelakos. The debut EP, 'Chunk Of Change', which is about to be reissued by Frenchkiss Records (Les Savy Fav, Thunderbirds Are Now!, The Dodos), was originally recorded as a belated Valentine's present for his girlfriend. However, when he began handing it out to friends as well, it took on a whole new life. Now expanded to a five piece band, Passion Pit has been gaining attention in the US, after gaining support slots with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Girl Talk and These New Puritans. Already setting the blogosphere on fire, expect the squeaky, dreamy pop of 'Sleepyhead' to be filling your ears on a regular basis in the not too distant future.
