This isn't music news, but it amused me. And hey, they sing songs in panto don't they? Former 'Hollyoaks' 'actor' and 'Celebrity Love Island' 'star' Paul Danan has been axed from a lead role in a pantomine in Preston after swearing while turning on the Christmas lights in the city. Danan was among the c'lebs turning on the lights because of his staring role in the city's panto - with the show's producers hoping to persuade the families watching the lights go live to buy tickets for the festive show. Which is why they were a bit pissed off when he shouted at the crowds of families "Make some motherfucking noise, Preston!" As I understand it they didn't. Danan was promptly sacked and has since apologised for "getting carried away". Personally I'd be saying what's good enough for Snoop Dogg on prime time Saturday tea time BBC1 (during Live 8) is good enough for a mediocre telly actor when turning on the lights in breezy Preston. But what do I know?
