Pete Doherty arrest warrant withdrawn, new court date set

The arrest warrant for Pete Doherty over criminal damage charges has been withdrawn, with a new court date set for 24 July.

That previously reported warrant for the arrest of Pete Doherty, issued when the singer failed to turn up to a hearing a Yeovil Magistrates' Court last Thursday to face charges of criminal damage, has been withdrawn. The allegations in this case relate to an incident which took place in August last year in which the Babyshambler is accused of chasing photographer Cath Mead into a shop after she tried to take a photo of Irina Lazareanu, his girlfriend at the time. Mead was not injured in the incident, but her camera was. A new court date has been set for 24 Jul.
