Pink Floyd reunite for Live 8

The Sunday Mirror reports Pink Floyd are planning to reunite for a Live 8 performance, with Bob Geldof reportedly in talks with the band.

And talking of reunions, The Sunday Mirror claims that Pink Floyd are planning to reunite for a performance at the upcoming not-Live-Aid-2 event, Live 8. Some of the usual suspects (U2, Paul McCartney) have already signed up, but Bob Geldof is apparently in talks with Pink Floyd, who haven't played together since the eighties following a feud between Roger Waters and the rest of the band. A source said "There have been a whole series of calls. Sir Bob is hopeful we can make this happen."
