Pink sued by allegedly unpaid musician

Musician Kyle Jones, aka Scratch, is suing Pink, her company and SonyBMG's Zomba, claiming $717,600 for his uncredited work on the song 'Respect'.

More from the pop courts, and Pink has been sued by a musician who claims he is owed money from his work on the singer's 2001 album 'Missundazstood'. Kyle Jones, aka Scratch, claims he is owed the cash for his work on the song 'Respect', though he admits his fee discussions with the singer were somewhat informal. Nevertheless, he reckons he's owed $717,600 for the song, which also featured on Pink's DVD release 'Live In Europe'. Pink, her company Pink Stuff Inc and her label, SonyBMG's Zomba, are all named as defendants in the lawsuit.
