The Police will play over 30 extra North American dates in May and July, with Elvis Costello & The Imposters, before the reunion ends in August.

The Police have announced that they'll play another leg of North America on their highly successful reunion tour before they split again for good. According to Billboard.biz, the trio will play an extra 30+ dates during May and July, in addition to their European commitments in June, supported on all the US dates by Elvis Costello & The Imposters. The reunion has been a lucrative one, and is expected to make around $340m, making it one of the top five grossing tours of all time, but a source told Billboard that the band have no plans to ever reunite again once the tour ends at the start of August.
