Pop Idol gossip galore. Firstly Gareth Gates has confirmed he is dating dancer Suzanne Mole who, nine years Gates' senior, used to date Sean Conlon of defunct boy band Five. He told The Sun: "I've been seeing Suzanne on and off since the beginning of the year. It's not serious - but I have been seeing her."
Darius Danesh, meanwhile, has denied reports he is to marry Mirella Dell'Aquila of Canadian Popstar winning group Sugar Jones – telling Radio 1 he doesn’t even really know her. "No, I'm not engaged! I've only met this unfortunate girl once six months ago at an Oxford gig when a manager insisted I had my photograph taken with the group. I don't know her. I can't even pronounce her name. I think it's quite funny. But it's an even bigger shame she's not even the pretty one from the group!"
Meanwhile police have warned people not to buy tickets for what has been billed as the Romantic Rendez Vous Secrets Night – a West London gig which claims to have Darius and Blazin Squad on the bill. Apparently it is a fake and the £12 ticket won’t get music fans anything. Detectives investigating the con have asked those who have already bought tickets, or anyone with any information about those involved, to contact their local police station or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
