Post office named after Ray Charles

A post office near the Los Angeles studio where Ray Charles recorded much of his music has been named after him at a dedication ceremony.

A post office close to the LA studio where Ray Charles recorded the bulk of his music has been named after him. Family, friends and postal workers came together for a dedication ceremony after which the late musician's longtime manager Joe Adams produced a letter from Bill Cosby to President Bill Clinton, and asked that it be the first item to be sent following the ceremony

Rev. Robert Robinson said "Now we have something we can always see with his name on it and the world can share. We miss him so much. So we appreciate every little piece that people do to keep his memory there."
