So, 100 have been voted off the Phil Spector Wall Of Judgement spectacular. Or, rather, they've been excused from sitting on the jury on the legendary music producer's upcoming murder trial. All of which means the 300 being considered to sit on the jury on Monday are now down to 200. Each of those 200 will now perform a turn in front of legal representative of both side, oh, no, hang on, they'll fill out a questionnaire which will be used by legal representatives of both sides to identify if they have any problems with the remaining potential jurors. Then a final jury of 12 will be selected.
Spector and his wife watched the jury selection processes in court. After the court session yesterday, Spector's lawyer Roger Rosen told reporters: "He's doing OK. He has had a number of health issues over the last year and he's not past all of them yet".
As much much previously reported, Spector is accused of shooting dead actress Lana Clarkson at his Beverley Hills home in Feburary 2003. Which is all very serious and probably makes the flippant way you talked about the jury selection process there a bit inappropriate - shame on you. Spector, of course, denies the charges.
