Pre return to the studio

Pre are heading to Chicago next month to record their follow-up to 'Epic Fits' with Steve Albini, and will play several London warm-up gigs.

CMU favourites Pre head over to Chicago next month to record the follow-up to their debut album, 'Epic Fits', with none other than the legendary Steve Albini.

On their ambitions for the album, the band say: "Hopefully, the new record will put a stop to people leaving comments on our MySpace page like: 'Your music makes us feel very chubby down stairs'. Seriously..."

Before heading Stateside, the band will be playing a few gigs around London town to warm themselves up. On 7 Oct, they'll be supporting another CMU favourite, Rolo Tomassi, at Madame Jojo's in Soho.

Here are all the dates:

3 Oct: London, The Luminaire

7 Oct: London, Madame Jojo's

16 Oct: London, Hoxton Bar & Grill
