Prince struts his stuff

Prince made a surprise live performance at Matthew Williamson's London Fashion Week show, ahead of the end of his O2 residency.

Prince turned up in the most unlikely of places yesterday after deciding to strut his stuff on the catwalk at London Fashion Week. The miniature pop star wasn't modelling, however, with his 5'2 height being perhaps a tad too far from most models stature, instead crashing Matthew Williamson's show with a surprise live performance. According to Reuters, the singer, who is coming to the end of his residency at London's O2 venue on Friday, initially appeared to be just another guest at the show until a Prince track began to play causing the two models onstage to start dancing, with Prince performing from the front of the stage with his band. Designer Williamson explained: "He really wanted to do this, and you don't say 'No' to Prince".
