The Raconteurs have discovered that a band with the same name exists in Australia, and are therefore having to alter their name to 'The Saboteurs' for Australian releases.
A statement to the Australian press is quoted as saying: "The Raconteurs name was already taken by a jazz band, to make things easier, and in the spirit of espionage and subversion, we have decided to become The Saboteurs in Australia only."
