RadioCentre announces new CEO

The new commercial radio body RadioCentre has named Andrew Harrison, currently MD of Muller, as its first chief executive, with Paul Brown and Douglas McArthur taking chairman roles.

And talking of chief executive appointments, the new commercial radio industry body RadioCentre - that's the previously reported new body formed by the merger of the Commercial Radio Companies Association and the Radio Advertising Bureau - has announced that former Nestle Marketing Director Andrew Harrison will be its first Chief Executive. Harrison will be bringing with him the yoghurt making skills he picked up in his current job as MD of Muller and will be hoping to use those skills to help the commercial radio sector win back audience share from the BBC who always do well in the ratings, but who make a rubbish yoghurt.

The bosses of the CRCA and RAB will stay on - CRCA CEO Paul Brown as chairman of the board, RAB boss Douglas McArthur as a non-executive chairman.
