And now a load more cancelled gigs news. The Rakes have been forced to cancel two gigs because singer Alan Donohoe has been ordered to rest because of exhaustion and a throat infection. The band missed their set at the Electric Picnic Festival in Dublin yesterday, and will no longer play at the aforementioned Bestival this weekend. A spokesperson said: "Alan needs to rest for two weeks as they have a heavy touring schedule commencing with their first trip to the USA mid-September followed by the Club NME UK tour."
