Razorlight not splitting, Johnny Borrell solo work planned

Razorlight have denied split reports, with Andy Burrows saying a new album is planned and that Johnny Borrell may do solo work.

Bad news for Mary here at CMU, who had put the champagne on ice. Razorlight have denied reports they are splitting up. The split rumours seem to have stemmed from frontman Johnny Borrell doing some solo performances of late. But both he and bandmate Andy Burrows have stressed that doesn't mean there will be any end to the band. Burrows told the Mail: "We're not splitting. We're planning a new album. Johnny might do some solo work but that's not a problem". Ah, so there'll be more Razorlight plus Borrell solo releases. Mary will be thrilled.
