Red Hot Chili Peppers record 15 new songs

The Red Hot Chili Peppers recorded two songs for their 'Greatest Hits' album but ended up writing and recording 15, according to Flea speaking to NME.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers went into the studio to produce two new songs for their forthcoming 'Greatest Hits' album, due for release later in the year, but "instead we wrote and recorded 15 songs and they rock. We played a wide variety of music arranged into song format that is among the most diverse and dynamic good feeling shit we have ever done, at least how that feels to me. We gave it no thought. We just rocked and it worked well, it is the fastest we have ever recorded so much material. It was the way to go, I can't wait for y'all to hear it. No thinking just rocking." Said Flea.

Flea told NME that the music sounds like Bulgarian pygmies if you crossed them with Transylvanian choir groups.
