Rejected Pop Idol contestant says producers portrayed her as a tearaway

Rejected Pop Idol contestant Nathalie Mogg says producers tried to make her and her sister look like boozed-up tearaways after they drank Cointreau before auditioning.

Everyone seems to be taking a swipe at Pop Idol for making them look stupid, or violent or shit at singing, and now another contestant, who was rejected, says producers tried to make her and her sister look like "boozed-up teenage tearaways".

Nathalie Mogg and her sister Anne-Marie were seen drinking Cointreau before their audition, from which both had to be removed - Neil Fox removed Nathalie via a shoulder lift when she wouldn't stop singing, and her sister by a bouncer.

Nathalie said: "As a singer you are supposed to gargle with port before a performance to open the vocal chords. We didn't have any port so we took a bottle of Cointreau. We gargled and swallowed it a couple of times, but that was it."
