NME.com has reported that REM are planning a ‘best of’ album for 2003 which, as is the trend these days, will feature some new material too. A release date is not yet set, though it will be timed to fit in with a hectic year for the band which will include an extensive world tour (they’re rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury) and a new studio album.
