RI:SE revamp depends on 11 O'Clock presenter

Channel 4 is relaunching its struggling breakfast show RI:SE with former 11 O'Clock Show host Iain Lee co-presenting alongside Edith Bowman.

Having fired all but one of its original presenting team Channel 4 hope to breath new life into its struggling breakfast show RI:SE with the addition of former 11 O'Clock Show host Iain Lee. The programme will be relaunched later this month with a two presenter format (more and more like the Big Breakfast everyday!). Lee will co-present with original team member Edith Bowman from a new studio on top of the Whiteleys Shopping Centre in Bayswater. The show – which tried to turn the Heat formula of entertainment news, gossip and a light hearted look at the world into a TV show – was hit with a barrage of criticism on its launch, and has failed to build even a cult fanbase since. No word on how long the revamped show will be given to prove itself.
