Erlend Øye – the Norwegian who sang the vocals to tracks on Royksopp’s ‘Melody AM’, album - including the singles ‘Poor Leno’ and ‘Remind Me’ – will release a debut solo album next month called ‘Unrest’. Word is the album will feature ten songs, made in ten cities, with ten producers and is a “genre bending electro solo album” from a “gregarious jet set folk singer and part time dance entity”.
