Rubin for Columbia US job rumours continue

Following previously reported rumours that legendary producer Rick Rubin was joining SonyBMG's Columbia US division in a top job, HitsDailyDouble is reporting that the producer attended a SonyBMG group wide meeting in Las Vegas last week, which adds some credibility to said rumours. As previously reported, some reckon Rubin will head up Columbia's A&R, while bringing his own label, American Recordings, to the major, ending its distribution relationship with Warner.
