Shyne raps against 50 Cent from his prison cell

Shyne has recorded a dis rap against 50 Cent from prison, accusing him of trying to sign him to G-Unit while publicly disparaging him.

Talking of MCs on the wrong side of the law, rapper Shyne has recorded a dis rap against 50 Cent from his prison cell. In the new rap, seemingly recorded on the phone, the rapper claims Fiddy - who he calls "a snitch" - was trying to sign him up to his record label at the same time as dissing him in public. It seems the new rap has been recorded in retaliation for a freestyle 50 recorded on a New York radio station in which he slagged off a number of rivals, including Shyne and Lil Kim.

Shyne told MTV in an interview conducted from the the Clinton Correctional Facility last week: "I got word he [Fiddy] said something he wasn't supposed to say. It's one thing if he would have said it and stood by it; 'That's what I said, you have a problem, whatever!' But he said it and at the same time he was trying to sign me to G-Unit Records. There's an interlude where Sha Money is calling me, 'Yo, 50 wants you to sign to G-unit.' He's reaching out to all my sets [in the street] trying to sign me to G-Unit. You hear me, [Fiddy] is a kid to me. He's like a little dude. In here we call them 'my little homies'".

Shyne is currently serving a ten year sentence for his involvement in a 1999 shooting at a New York nightclub. Despite that fact, he recently signed a deal with Def Jam who will release his already completed second album 'Godfather Buried Alive' next month. Rumour has it the 50 Cent dis rap might appear on that release.
